Orlando Health opens new 24/7 emergency department in North Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla. — Orlando Health has opened a new free-standing emergency department in North Lakeland, expanding access to around-the-clock emergency care for residents in the area.The Orlando Health Emergency Room – North Lakeland is located at 963 Lakeland Park Center Drive in the Lakeland Park Center shopping plaza and is now serving patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week.“The nationally recognized emergency care of Orlando Health is now nearby for North Lakeland residents, with the peace of mind that comes with a staff dedicated to helping patients through all critical-care situations,” said Dr. Brody Hingst, emergency department director at Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital.The facility is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, specially trained nurses and paramedics who treat both adults and children.
