Veronica the runaway cow returned home after being rescued from deep mud

A runaway cow is back home after a drone helped deputies locate her stuck in deep mud over the weekend.Officials said Veronica, the cow, escaped from her home on Saturday and has not returned.The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office used a drone to search for Veronica and eventually spotted her trapped in deep mud.Crews then launched a rescue operation that lasted about eight hours before they were able to free her.Veronica was safely returned home following the rescue.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
