Victory Casino Cruises says a contract dispute with a shipyard has led to its vessel’s arrest in a civil admiralty proceeding, extending its dry dock stay and forcing employee furloughs. The company, which has operated in the community for 15 years, said it is working to resolve the dispute but has no confirmed return date.“We are currently in a contractual dispute with the shipyard and are making every attempt to resolve it as soon as possible,” the company said. “The term ‘arrest’ in this context refers to a legal process involving the vessel.
